A key topic for the annual meeting is how TIM will work to continue adding value for its members. These relatively young organisations benefit from each other’s experiences through the network’s monthly meetings and informal contacts. This enables them to assist their member companies in their international endeavours.
Each annual meeting includes visits to interesting companies and research environments. In Croatia, there will be study visits to research hospitals and private hospitals specializing in various types of clinical care, as well as companies focused on medical robotics. In Slovenia, visits will be made to biotech companies and companies developing plant-based medicines.
TIM is a supercluster comprising eight science parks and clusters with a presence on three continents: North America, Asia, and Europe. The Secretariat is based in Lund, Sweden. Its vision is to bridge innovation hubs by leveraging expertise through international alliances to support ecosystems in solving future health challenges for people and the planet.
