Welcome Galician Health Cluster (CSG) to Twins´ International MultiHelix (TIM)

On July 5th 2019 a Partnership Agreement was signed between the Galician Health Cluster CSG (Cluster Saúde de Galicia)situated in Santiago de CompostelaSpain and Twins´ International MultiHelix (TIM) in Lund, Sweden. It is our pleasure to welcome CSG as an International Network member and to start collaborating in the field of Life Sciences to create value for people´s health and wellbeing. 

The CSG as an innovation center.

TheGalician Health Cluster CSG (Cluster Saúde de Galicia) is a professional platform for public-private cooperation, which acts as a catalyst for the competitiveness of the health and social care industries, contributing decisively to the economic and social development of the region of Galicia. One of the key objectives is the internationalization of the innovation of the health and social care sectors.

CSG was established in 2011 by 15 founder entities and currently counts with 72 members and growing. With a turnover of almost 900M€ our members employ more than 80000 people and are present in more than 100 countries. They are part of one or more of our value chains: Healthcare, Foodtech, Healthtech & Support.

A patient-centered model based on innovation

The CSG develops a model based on clinical excellence, R&D&I, digital transformation and the development of technology-based products to improve wellbeing. For this, the CSG acts as the channel of communications between the users, providers and regulators. CSG works for keeping a good communication with the regional Ministries of Health, Social Affairs & Industry, Economics and Employment. Our members include patient associations, entrepreneurs, SMEs, MNC as well as universities, technological centers and other non-profit and professional school associations.

Collaboration is imprinted in CSG DNA, leading the health and social care sectors of Galicia in several European networks and being an active member in the national network of health clusters. The Galician Health Cluster participates in several European projects as a key partner for communication and translation of research results into industry.
